Mandala Cocktails – Lab & ö
Today we introduce Mandala Cocktails – Lab & ö, two multifunctional spaces in one, through its owner, Iñaki Jiménez, who tells us first-hand how the project was born.
“We started this project in June 2020 with the ambition of creating a flagship venue for cocktail culture in the Levante area.
Its location just a few kilometres from Alicante and Elche seemed to us the ideal place to begin the first phase of this project, in which we have a large terrace and very favourable opening hours so that our customers can enjoy a drink outdoors.

We wanted to stand out as a venue where cocktails are based on premium products, thus adding extra value to our cocktails. We offer an extensive Tropical Cocktail menu, with certain Tiki and signature cocktail nuances.

Our cocktails are made mostly with Premium spirits, and we are a flagship venue for some brands, collaborating on the creation of cocktails to promote on their social media. We have the latest trends in equipment and tools so that our creations first win our customers over visually and then with their flavour. In addition, we have display cabinets where we showcase all the Premium and Ultra Premium spirits we have, allowing customers to see the full range and choose what to drink. Among them, we highlight our wide variety of Japanese and American whiskies.

We believe in caring for the environment; therefore, we do not use any plastic or any material that is not recyclable.
Our large terrace, with capacity for 150 people, is located on the upper level of the Gran Alacant Shopping Centre, where we enjoy sunsets every summer day, with special DJ sessions.
In March 2021 we began the second phase of the project. If there was one thing we missed in our venue, it was the possibility for our customers, in addition to having drinks or cocktails, to be able to have lunch or dinner and enjoy the surroundings.
Ö Mandala was created to meet all of those needs:

- Lunches and dinners
- Pastry menu
With our already spacious terrace, we increased its capacity by a further 40 people, resulting in an approximate Covid-measures capacity of around 190 people, with a service capacity for ö Mandala of around 80 people.
For lunch and dinner service, we will offer a menu featuring fresh, market-sourced produce and a variety of dishes from around the world, all accompanied by our selection of national and international beers and our wine list, to pair and enjoy the experience even more.”
